All the planning, buying, and preparing, and it's over in an afternoon. Actually we did scale way back this year and it all worked out fine. We also spent much less than other years and everyone seemed happy.
So, beginning this year, we have a new, much less stressful, holiday standard. And that's one of the best presents I've ever received!
