Today I joined Emily and Elliott at the movies. We saw Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted. I enjoyed the first Madagascar movie, so was looking forward to the second sequel. What a disappointment! Madagascar 3 is basically an hour and half car chase with not much humor. I still laugh out loud during several parts of the original movie, but only one line in the second sequel brought that response. The only truly enjoyable part of Madagascar 3 is Katy Perry's song, Firework. It just goes to show sequels are rarely as good as the original, even when they're animated.
