Over the weekend, I checked out the television series Missing. It's about a former CIA agent, played by Ashley Judd, who's looking for her son who was kidnapped while studying abroad. It's not a bad concept and I liked seeing the different countries and cities she visited. What turned me off (besides the incredibly bad acting) is how Judd's character comes out of every near-death situation in a clean new stylish outfit. Seriously? The woman never carries a suitcase or, for that matter, a handbag. The only thing she travels with is her cell phone, which must be one heck of a smart phone. It never needs charging and can conjure up a new outfit out of thin air. The series is not set in some future world so, if that phone exists, sign me up!
