Today I met Fredbird, the Cardinals mascot. My cousin Gayle's daughter got married and surprised the groom by having Fredbird show up at their reception. Gayle's entire family are huge Cardinals fans and, apparently, so is Christine's new husband.When we took Elliott to his first Cardinals game, he was so excited to see Fredbird even from the "nose-bleed" section. I can't wait to show him the picture of Fredbird with his arms around grandma and great-papa! But, unfortunately, I'll have to wait until my Aunt Lorraine emails me the picture. I had to use her camera because I left mine at home! That's a mistake I don't plan to make again.
