Radon Poisoning

While we're concentrating on the basement, Jim decided to test for radon.  Well, wouldn't you know, we appear to have a problem.

The recommended next step is to retest one or two more times to confirm. However, I'm thinking once is enough.  Which means Jim now has to drill another hole in the basement floor and run a pipe to the attic or outside.  Thank goodness I have a handyman for a husband!

There always seems to be something that needs fixing when you're a homeowner. But it's good that we're getting a number of things done while we're still able-bodied and not on a fixed income.
