I'm trying to be patient while Jim finishes the basement, but today I'm feeling extremely anxious. I hate clutter and disorganization!
The foundation specialists finished last Thursday. Over the weekend, Jim filled all the cracks, saving us $1,600. He also sealed the basement floor. This morning the electrician put the basement refrigerator and sump pump on their own circuits. Next, Jim will stain the storage room floor. As soon as it dries, we will add the new shelves and I can start clearing and organizing the clutter everywhere else in the basement.
I should just be grateful that Jonah's play area was undisturbed during this whole ordeal. But enough is enough. I can't wait much longer to "roll up my sleeves" and do a thorough cleaning!
