Jonah and I have a good schedule. He sleeps 1-2 hours and then eats and plays 1-2 hours. That pattern continues until Emily picks him up around 4:00 P.M.
Half of the finished area of our basement is a play zone. It's child-proof and full of age-appropriate toys. There's also a television and DVD player. So, when Jonah's not sleeping, we're usually happily hanging out downstairs.
But then there's the occasional off day. Today was one of those days. Jonah didn't want to play with toys, refused solids, and did a lot of crabbing. Fortunately he did take a couple of naps. I understand that he's getting over a sinus infection but, nevertheless, I have little patience for crabby kids. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
