December Daily – December 9

As planned, Jonah and I did several holiday craft projects today. This one is my favorite:

I printed a free printable from the internet that Jonah colored. We then wrapped his artwork around a toilet paper tube, using double-sided tape. Voila – a nutcracker!

Later in the day, I gave Jonah some trains. The battery-operated ones cost $2 at Walgreens; the wind-up train cost $1 at Dollar Tree. The plan is for the battery-operated ones to go around the boy's dresser-top trees in their rooms. Here's a short video.

With three new trains, Jonah was in heaven. Best "Grandma Day" ever!

LOL! Nutcracker toilet paper roles! Cool! And those little trains are really awesome! Cheap entertainment, that's for sure. He looked quite happy with them. Fun Gramma Day! :)
