I just finished making Ina Garten's Chicken Pot Pie to be served for lunch on Christmas Eve. The first time I made Ina's pot pie I followed the recipe exactly. The next year Panera Bread added a Chicken Stew to their fall menu that tasted a lot like the filling of Ina's pie. And that's when I decided to simplify my Christmas Eve menu and serve "Chicken Pot Pie Sans Crust." Except this year it's "Turkey Pot Pie Sans Crust."
Chicken or turkey, it's a tasty make-ahead one-dish meal. Just add rolls!
