Today we went to the Museum of Transportation so the boys could tell Santa what they want for Christmas. It's sad to think this might be the last year Elliott believes in Santa. He'll be eight next year and in third grade.
But while this might have been Elliott's last year, it was Jonah's first year to really get excited about talking with Santa. However, he did demand to know if that was the actual person who was coming to his house. I suspect Jonah is already suspicious about one Santa being in so many places at one time.

This is the first year we got a picture of Jonah smiling with Santa. |
After our visit with Santa, and a tour of the Museum of Transportation's holiday train displays, we went to my daughter's house to decorate the gingerbread cookies I made yesterday. Jonah thought the idea was to decorate a cookie and then immediately eat it!
After eating his big gingerbread man, Jonah decorated the tree and quickly consumed it too! |

I'm sure the eight-year old is probably suspicious by now. They grow so quickly. Christmas is really more fun when you have little ones in the family. :)
Decorating and eating the cookies sounds like a plan--LOL!
