Seriously!

So as if the whole sidewalk installation in front of our house wasn't annoying enough, now the city is repaving our street.  I'm not opposed to having the street repaved.  In fact, it's long overdue.  I just don't like the time of day they've chosen to do it -- 8:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M.!

Last night the noise was unbearable.  I finally gave in and took an Ambien.  Before last night, I had only used Ambien when we traveled overseas.  It gives me a solid five hours of sleep, which is great.  However, I'm a person who needs 8-9 hours.  So I'm dragging today anyway.

It's 7:00 P.M. now and I just took a couple of Benadryl.  I'm hoping I can fall sound asleep before the noise begins, again, tonight.  I hate the idea of possibly having to take Ambien every night this week. That sounds to me like the start of an addiction.
