The Cardinals didn't win, but we had fun anyway at yesterday's game. The Champions Club is a great way to watch a live game. It's a large air-conditioned room with a buffet, three bars, several large screens, tables and chairs, and couches. Even the included outdoor reserved seat is comfy. It's padded and in a shaded area cooled with ceiling fans. Tickets in the Champions Club turned out to be a great birthday gift for Jim, but now he's spoiled. It'll be tough to watch a live Cardinals game from anywhere else in the future.
Now I'm home alone with a long list of summer chores. I completed some over the weekend, so I'm not feeling too overwhelmed this morning. However, Emily needs to turn in grades today and take Elliott to see the doctor. He had a fever last night and probably has a sinus infection. So I suspect I'll be watching one or more grandsons for a few hours today. Grandma is never off duty for long.
