When Elliott was two, I purchased this climber for our backyard. Not being an outdoors person, Elliott never really use it. But now he's keen on turning it into a pirate ship. Since the climber has a helm, the transformation should be simple. I already found a telescope and treasure chest online. I'll make the pirate flag and, if possible, a mast.
By the end of the upcoming weekend, the "pirate ship" will be docked in the Jorgensens' backyard. It should be fun for Jonah, too. Unlike his brother, he likes to be outside and loves to climb. Hopefully this added attraction will provide hours of entertainment. For sure, Emily will need all the help she can get!
