It's a sad day for St. Louis. An apparent tornado hit the airport, shutting it down indefinitely. I feel badly for the workers and travelers, but am also concerned about this huge blow to Missouri's already shaky economy. The total impact of this latest disaster is just too much for me to mentally handle this morning. Already, with all that's been going on with dad and mom, it's a daily struggle for me to stay positive. A little sunshine would certainly help. But the rain has been pouring for days with no end in sight. In addition, the storms have been so bad that the tornado sirens have been blasting regularly for a week. Enough is enough.
