Rockwood announced last night that today would be another snow day. Yes, that's two in a row! However, I'm assuming today's closing was primarily due to extremely cold temperatures.
That leaves just one available snow day for the rest of the school year with a lot of winter still remaining. And already snow showers are predicted for several days next week. If more than one snow day is needed before the season ends, the school year will be extended.
Nevertheless, I'll take extra snow days over the year ending on time. Grandma Daycare is easier in warmer weather. There are no big winter coats and hats to deal with when running errands. And there's the option of taking neighborhood walks to help fill the day.
From the family business perspective, however, the sooner the snow and cold weather ends, the better. These are lean times for pest control.
